We are the company (working with DMB&B – the huge advertising agency in New York City) the took the Bose Wave Radio out of the retail marketplace and put them in direct response. 

Bose’s products were languishing on shelves.  Their price point for a clock radio was $295USD, three times the price of the closest competitor, Sony.  Store clerks would not steer customers to a $300 clock radio because it seemed too expensive.  At our recommendation, Bose removed products from retail stores and developed a direct marketing campaign.  Today, the Bose Wave Radio outsells its cheaper competitors 5 to 1.  Most importantly, Bose got to keep the huge retailer mark-ups and middlemen commissions!  We have successfully used this identical strategy for many companies.
